Parboiled Rice

Golden parboiled rice — high head-rice yield and strong shelf stability for long hauls.

Parboiled rice is soaked, steamed and dried in the husk before milling. The process drives nutrients into the endosperm, hardens the grain and produces the characteristic golden tint.

It travels and stores well, which makes it the practical choice for African and Middle-Eastern programmes and for buyers holding stock over a season.
